Everyday Math Lesson

We started our Everyday Math Lessons.....
We learned the names of the pattern blocks and had a chance to play with
them. 

Read to Self.....

We started building our "Read to Self" stamina today.  This will be part of our reading block.  They read for 5 min. today! We are building to 15 min.  

We talked about 3 ways to read a book.  

    1. Read the words.

    2. Read the pictures.

    3. Retell the story.

 We walked around and found friends that liked ice cream, dogs, swimming,etc. 
 Great way to learn each others names!

 We read "David Goes to School" and came up with good choices and poor choices for our classroom.
